MWD6/0.3L(A) is a MA-certified electric explosion-proof crawler hydraulic excavator for underground coal mines, equipped with optional 2-section arm and 3-section arm. With 6-ton weight and 0.3m³ bucket capacity, it features zero emission, low noise and flexible operation. Compliant with GB3836 explosion-proof standards, it adapts to narrow high-gas and ordinary coal mine roadways. The 3-section arm design realizes wider working range and no blind spots, widely used for underground wall trimming, floor leveling, rock breaking and roadway maintenance.

MWD6 and MWD8 are two compact multi-purpose mining excavators. They are tailor-made for underground coal mines and mixed coal-rock roadways. They also fit all kinds of tunnel construction projects well.
First of all, both machines adopt a three-section boom plus tail-free rotating layout. They carry ultra-narrow body frames. They deliver highly flexible operation. They come with complete built-in safety protection modules.
Moreover, they support a full set of interchangeable working attachments. Common choices include milling heads and hydraulic breakers. One single machine can finish dozens of construction tasks.

2.1 Compact & Flexible Body Layout

Each machine is fitted with a three-section folding boom. It cuts the overall turning radius down to a minimum.
The whole machine height drops to only 2.35m after full boom retraction. The operation console roof can be detached freely. Operators can adjust boom height at will. This design avoids collisions with anchor bolts, anchor cables and roof plates. It moves smoothly in roadways of various heights.
Besides, the tail-free structure allows the upper body to spin 360 degrees freely. The auxiliary arm can rotate ±90 degrees. No blind spots exist during excavation and rock breaking work.
What’s more, the whole unit is lightweight and compact. It simplifies underground transport, disassembly and roadway shifting. It brings outstanding mobility and faster construction progress.

2.2 All-in-One Multifunctional Design

This excavator covers a wide range of underground jobs. It handles excavation, roadway trimming, floor leveling, loose coal cleaning, slag removal, wall expansion and side digging.
A front dozer blade comes as standard. It levels working faces in seconds. An optional mechanical manipulator is available. It lifts and lays U-shaped steel supports easily, which greatly speeds up roadway support work.

An explosion-proof mining excavator with a three-section slewing arm and MA mine safety logo. It has a quick-change structure for the breaker and thickened mining-specific crawler tracks. This 6-ton model is equipped with a large-capacity bucket of 0.3 cubic meters, with a higher single-time ore loading capacity. The purely electric explosion-proof layout is suitable for large and medium-sized mines, and can undertake underground ore collection, broken rock removal, and tunnel base leveling.

The boom can be flattened and extended to penetrate into low and restricted tunnels. The hammer head is aligned with the side wall of the tunnel to carry out crushing construction. It is suitable for side excavation and removal of loose ore bodies in surrounding rocks, solving low-level rock breaking conditions that conventional models cannot reach.
