The MWD series underground hydraulic excavator is dedicated explosion-proof electric excavation equipment specially developed for coal mine underground operations. Featuring a lightweight compact body, it delivers excellent passability for narrow and low-clearance mine roadways.
The MWD6/0.3L(A) 1.6m narrow-body rotary boom excavator is the mainstream standard model, perfectly matching small & medium coal mines and confined low-narrow working tunnels. It is equipped with a flameproof motor and variable-displacement hydraulic system with optimized pressure-flow matching logic. The design effectively avoids overheating during long-duration continuous heavy-duty work, lowers running noise, and greatly improves safety inside enclosed underground spaces.
The machine is factory-fitted with a 3-section rotary working arm. Its auxiliary boom supports 180° and 360° free rotation, while the whole upper body can rotate 360° without dead working zones. Adopting a heavy-duty steel crawler chassis, the unit boasts high minimum ground clearance and powerful climbing performance, running steadily on muddy and gravel tunnel floors and effectively reducing vehicle trapping risks.
A reserved hydraulic quick connector is pre-installed on the machine, enabling fast matching with supporting hydraulic breakers to fulfill multi-scenario construction tasks including excavation, muck removal, rock crushing and roadway expansion.
Benefiting from compact overall dimensions and ultra-small turning radius, the excavator can easily access narrow mine drifts. The front dozer blade and large-capacity digging bucket jointly boost overall construction efficiency. All electrical components adopt full explosion-proof design with multi-layer leakage and overload protection mechanisms.
